SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING

At Roy Cloud, we believe that social-emotional learning in school is essential in helping our students thrive and be academically successful. We have a robust Social Emotional Learning program starting with the Purposeful People curriculum for K - 5th-grade students and Character Strong for our 6th - 8th-grade students. Each month we highlight a particular character trait and throughout the month teachers focus on building student's skills and habits and bring awareness to the benefits of building them into our character. Students will receive SEL lessons in the classroom at a minimum of 2 days per week.
