About Me: I really enjoy teaching as a craft. I find taking a standard, breaking it up into lessons, and differentiating for the needs of my students exciting. I also pride myself in being patient and understanding. My goal is for every child to feel loved and good about themselves. It is my hope that I can give them the self-confidence they need to be successful in their school career. I was born in San Mateo and moved here when I was 3 years old. I grew up in this neighborhood and went to Roy Cloud from K-4th grade. From there I went to Nativity in Menlo Park. For high school, I started at Notre Dame in Belmont for 2 years and graduated from Woodside High School in 1990. My family consists of my husband, Gabe, and my twins, Mario and Marisa. They are seniors at Woodside, Class of 2024 🐯 In my spare time, I like to read and do jigsaw puzzles. I also enjoy traveling with my family and getting together with friends. I have a slight obsession with YouTube. Presently, I watch True Crime Stories and listen to music. Favorite quote: Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. ~ Albert Einstein
