Meet Roy Cloud
Roy Cloud School is a Kindergarten through 8th grade neighborhood school providing all student with a well-balanced, challenging, student-centered learning environment. Character and social and emotional learning development are a top priority.
Our STEAM Program
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is the integration of computer science and engineering across all content areas such as language arts, science, and social studies. The goal of the program is to prepare students to be complex problem-solvers ready to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world.
State Coalition Recognizes Three RCSD Schools for Social-Emotional Support of Students
Teachers and staff of three Redwood City School District (RCSD) schools have been recognized by the California PBIS Coalition for an outstanding approach to social, emotional, and behavioral support. Selected for honors in 2021 were Orion Alternative School, Roosevelt School, and Roy Cloud School.
California Agency Salutes District for its Support of New Teachers
California’s Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) has presented Redwood City School District (RCSD) with full accreditation of its Induction Program, a program offering extensive on-the-job support and mentorship to new teachers in their first two years.
